Mill Vibration Sensors
Vibration and Acoustic sensors provide valuable insight into the dynamics of the charge in the mill. Integration of these sensors provide significant benefits by ensuring maximum grinding power is utilized on an optimized mill load that is thrown on the toe of the charge, whilst extending liner life.
Cyclone Sensors
Sensors detecting and tracking cyclone overflow particle size distribution and adverse cyclone behavior like roping should be partnered with advanced control strategies that manipulate the cyclone operational variables to balance the circuit bottlenecks between milling and flotation: Maximizing metal tons produced in stead of mere throughput.
Online Grade Analyzers
Various technologies are available to measure mineral and chemical content from drill and blast through flotation and leaching. The pairing of these sensors with adequate control strategies can significantly increase the mineral yield whilst reducing operational costs and protecting personnel and the environment.
Flotation Cameras
Flotation cameras measure froth characteristics, such as overflow velocity to control the mass pull of each cell to a stage appropriate profile, maximizing recovery and avoiding adverse froth conditions like pulping,

These cameras can also be used to detect and remedy adverse flotation conditions such as pulping, viscous froth, over- / under-loading, coalescence and stationary froth.
Fragmentation Cameras
These cameras, installed in various locations from post-blast to Mill feed can be used to detect oversize material and foreign objects and monitor the size distribution of material for use in:
- Blast Fragmentation Control:
Optimization of blast fragmentation by adjusting drill and blast operation minimizes costs whilst maximizing load and haul efficiencies and comminution throughput.
- Comminution Feed Control:
Feed and product PSD is used to adjust mill and crusher operating parameters to maximise throughput and recovery.
- Safety and Asset protection:
Detecting and removal of oversize and foreign objects not only increases throughput but protects equipment and people against adverse situations like crusher bridging, feed chute blockages and conveyor rips.
